One big problem is that the amount of caffeine is not required by the FDA to be on the label!  Sometimes, this can be 300 to 500 mg. per serving - a gigantic quantity.  The problem is high doses of caffeine can help lead to higher blood pressure, heart palpitations, and unpleasant nervous system reactions.

If you are consuming these energy drinks, make sure to check with the manufacturer to see how much caffeine is contained in it.  But, remember this…. most of these drinks may advertise they have some healthy ingredients like vitamins.  But, the fact is, that most are high in processed sugar and caffeine.  So, beware for your health’s sake.
